I started a knitting blog so I could comment on the very first knitting blog I found: Mason Dixon Knitting.  Back in those days you had to have a blog address to comment on a blog – now blogs will take anything – your email address, your facebook name, whatever.  But it occurred to me this morning that everything I blog about is usually a store announcement – and this morning I joined an International Pin Cushion Swap and had a put a blog address….so I started this page as kind of a personal page – that way I can at least blog about what I’m knitting,  crocheting or whatever! 

Lately I’ve been playing with all the new felt in the shop (which is why I was looking at pincushions and found the pincushion swap) and I’ve made lots of toys.  They’re so easy you can make most things in a day.  Here’s a few things I’ve made lately: http://gif.vg/p/8yljj8p5

Back to work -I’m knitting the top of a dress for a pattern Ana just wrote – hopefully we can put the whole thing together in the next day or so – it’s a great summer dress and Ana is working on several modifications.  It’s so much fun matching the yarn with the fabric that I promise, you won’t be able to make just one!
